Back to a Favorite

Just a quick post of a favorite book.

I do love coloring all kinds of things. I love all kinds of books, and I'm sure it's been noticed since I try to include as many as I can so people can find just what they love. I do love all the books I've found, but I still go back to my current favorite with Ms. Marotta. I can be found coloring throughout all sorts of activities, but it really does seem to help with my anxiety. I hope others are finding this activity as beneficial as me.

I loved doing this picture because it was a quicker one, that did take a few days because of the tiny details, but it was satisfying to see it begin to take shape as the colors went in.  The next picture in the book is similar, I think it's a lemur, but I will enjoy that one as well. Assuming I can get my book since I currently have a fatcat laying on my footstool where that one is at the moment.

I look forward to others sharing their art or experiences as always and enjoy!!!

A New Book

I really should see about offering product reviews in exchange for coloring books and supplies.

Anyway I have another book to share, and as is my anal tendency, I begin at the beginning and do all the title pages.  This time, though you get to see my analness in the form of even having to color the colorable words.  Yes, I know, I'm a hopeless compulsive case, but that's ok as long as I know and am fine with it, there should be no reason to change it.

Going for a shorter post today as there are a few pictures to share, and as usual I would love to see your art shared as well!  Enjoy!

I will just say that unlike the other greyscale book I have, this one is photographs and so in some small way seems a bit easier to find what each part is and determine what the items are.  The drawing greyscale book seems to leave some of the smaller items up for your own determintation as to exactly what they are and thus, what color they should be. I did still, at times have to hold the picture back to try and determine what were actual spots and what was simply shading, but for the most part it was a bit easier on me and my mind to try and determine what was what, although I love the artistry of the other greyscale book also.

I hope that you share some new adventures with me that I have yet to find so that I can adventure with you!!!

Another Artist

Got another new book with some interesting drawings in it by Jasmine Becket-Griffith.

So far I've enjoyed coloring the first drawing, and for those of you that have a broad taste of art in your coloring you may find it a fun book to invest in.  There are some others, or ones similar in style as well.  Not much to report other than I've been in a holding pattern and doing things to try and stay sane.  Obviously, coloring is among those things.

I hope you enjoy and add your art to the comments so I can see what you've been up to!
